Hoping good ol Ken will see this ;D
I believe the monitor in my Double Dragon cab is a WG K7000 (anyone familiar with what monitors are generally in these cabs?). There is no label anywhere for me to go by but the picture from bobs site looks like it.
I was looking at the pcb and noticed that 3 of the capacitors have some kind of glop around the bottom edge of them. Are these capacitors leaking?
So I'm pretty sure I need to order a cap kit from bob, and practice my soldering skills.
Discharging the monitor sounds pretty simple, but still is a bit scary.
Wish me luck.

Dedicated "Double Dragon" games used a Wells-Gardner 19" K7000 series monitor. It is certainly old enough to need a capkit for sure. That 'stuff' you see is actually glue that Wells put on a few of the caps to better secure them. They are NOT physically leaking.
Remember this monitor was manufactured from 1986 thru 1992 and unlike wine, capacitors do not get better with age!

Thanks. You must have an entire dictionary of every monitor ever made stored in your head. We are lucky to have you here ;D
Glue? Is there a good way to remove this stuff without causing damage?
Thanks again!

For the glue that's at the base of the capacitor, use a flat blade X-acto knife to sort of scrape the glue off. Be careful as you may end up scraping off critical polarity markings or component location numbers.
