im thinking that im gonna buy a jap stick and replace the joystick with happ comp stick..does anyone know happ stick fit in jap stick??
this is the stick that i want to buy http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-2a-77-6-15-arcade%2Bstick-70-2nd.html

what are your reasons for changing?

I would doubt that you can replace the stick easily. There probably isn't enough room to put a real arcade stick in that thing.

i dont like the ball top joystick, im not used to it.. plus ive heard someone said it has a square feel when you rotate the joystick around...

Happ joysticks won't fit.

With ya, it feels very unnatural for me too...

can you be more specific, is it because the case is too thin or the screw holes doesnt fit with happ joystick? if its the holes can you just drill the holes on happ joy so it will line up with the holes on the case? thanks

Because a Happ stick needs a little more than 2" of space below the panel...
I bet you that the stick you're looking at isn't even that thick, let alone would it have 2" of free space inside after removing the existing stick...
Most of these sticks & buttons are not anything like the arcade originals... They have PCBs with contact points on them (more like game pads)...
But you WILL NOT be able to put a Happ stick in that case... (well... not without a serious mod & adding a new bottom...)

im pretty sure its over 2 inches..i might rip all the button and joystick out..or buy a sanwa joystick to replace in...

The japanese are a lot better about using proper switched controls in their arcade sticks than the US manufacturers.
I can't speak for this specific device, though.

The case isn't deep enough for a Happ joystick or buttons. Your best bet would be to put a Japanes Sanwa joystick in there. The sanwa joysticks are very low profile and just plain small in genneral. It should fit in there fine and feel considerable better than the stock stick that it comes with. And if your only concern is the round vs square feel you can get a octagonal restrictor plate for the sanwa to make it feel more roundish. It will still feel very different from the Happ joysticks that you are probably used to playing on in the arcade though.
