I recently posted a problem I had with the controls "freaking out" on me. It only happens when you are playing a fighting game or track and field...basically any type of game with alot of button pushing. I thought it was a memory error..but I now have 192 megs of ram in my dell gx-150 1 gig. win 2000. I have the ipac ps2 2 player version. Today I installed mame on my family computer and hooked it up to my machine only to find it still happens. That has 512 megs and win xp. athlon 1800...the computer will beep and the controls either stop responding...or over respond...tonight I had the tab page...gamma correction and volume in the program alternating and setting themselves repeatedly at a very rapid pace. I'm at a loss as to what is going on. The ipac led indicator says there's no problem. The only thing I haven't tried is programming the ipac. I don't know if it's the ipac...but I'm running out of options at this point. It straightens itself out once you lay off the controls and leave it for a minute. But once it stops responding I usually have to reboot. Anybody had this problem? thanx

Two things --
Have you tried pressing keys rapidly on your regular keybord? Usually when my computer beeps its because too many buttons at once or something with a program.
Two: Email Andy, best answer always.

You should probably also state what emulators you're using.
