Is this for real?

I wouldn't get too excited about the special mode for silent scope. Although it is hard to discern much of anything from those pics, I'd guess that the special mode consists of moving the target reticle with the pad on the back of the gun and using the trigger to fire.

Yep just a load of marketing B/S. You can consider yourself "special" if you like to play Silent Scope using the d-pad on tha back of a lightgun.

Damn! I knew it was too good to be true! Never thought of that!
As far as I could remember (without digging out SS! I'm a lazy ---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?---, ya see!) the control was via the analog stick, not the digital, and it's normally the digital that the guns are fitted with. I tried (just out of sheer curiousity) using my Cybergun Desert Eagle's D-Pad, and I can't even navigate through the menus with it!
Oh well. I mailed the guy about the maraccas though, as for some curious reason my official ones have gone walkies a while ago. :'(
Guess one the removal guys was a Samba fan! ;)

the only reason you could move the Target rectile on the Arcade versions was because of the fact that the Riffle was connected to simply put it *a bigger joystick* at bottom of the riffle so technichally its stil not a shooting game like House of the dead Etc... cause it doesnt use a sensor but just simulates it...
(correct me if im wrong) ^.<
