That's like skydiving if you aren't in the military.

Why are you jumping out of a perfectly fine in-working-order aeroplane? (thought that would translate to the non-Engrish amongst us ;) )

Skydiving was amazing. If you get the chance you should all try it. My wife and I both jumped at 12,000ft which gives you around 40 seconds of free fall at roughly 200km/h. (125mp/h for you imperial dudes.)

Sure it's not the smartest way to spend a Sunday arvo, but it is probably one of the most exciting.

As a private pilot... and a SKYDIVER (see username) I can honestly say that at most drop zones, they are NOT PERFECTLY GOOD AIRPLANES!

The parachute on my back is the safest way to go...
