Search on board. I think there is a function key you need to hold down during startup to intialise the ram

You need to hold F2.  ;)  This will bypass the CMOS areas and the like.

Funny thing.  I was trying to get this game to work today and was going to search about it.

It runs real slow for me also.  Is it the arcade vga cant handle it?  Any tips on speeding it up?

FYI...simpson's bowling was really choppy on my Athlon 1.5ghz, but when I upgraded to a celeron D at 2.4ghz it now runs silky smooth.

Simpsons Bowling has little to no sound for me, either, and doesn't seem worth the hassle. I tried several bowling games last night and enjoyed Capcom Bowling and World Class Bowling the most.

Simpsons Bowling works fine for me on an Athlon XP 2000+ with 512MB of RAM, but it only occupies a rectangle about 2/3rds the width and 1/2 the height of the screen.  And, compared to WC Bowling, it just doesn't seem to be a very fun game.
