Title: Do I need a videoamp for this monitor

Purchased a monitor from arcadeshop.com.  Happs VisionPro Horizontal mount CGA,  going to do a order from ultimarc today for a avga, joys, various others......do i just need the normal breakout cable for 6 bucks or do I need the one with the video amp ?....
