i personally loathe the FF series...but to some this is im sure great news

Sakaguchi Joins Microsoft (Xbox)
Final Fantasy legend joins Microsoft to develop exclusive titles for the next Xbox.

Microsoft announced today that Hironobu Sakaguchi has joined Microsoft Game Studios to develop games exclusively for the next-gen Xbox.

Best known as the creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, Sakaguchi was the executive vice president in charge of game development at Square Enix until Feb, 2001 and is president of Mistwalker game studios.

Sharing a vision with Microsoft for the next stage of videogames, Sakaguchi will work on two upcoming Xbox exclusive RPGs to be published by Microsoft Game Studios.

so really hes not making final fantasy games for Xbox, hes just making RPGs

good...  I'm not about to buy an X-Box just so I can continue to play FF.
