Hi All,
I wanted to mention this later in the week but I think now is as good of a time as any.
-
Well I wouldnt mind seeing some pictures of this. You built a CNC router!? Thats what I understood from this! Thats insane! Any designs you happen to mess up or if you decide to make really cheap ones, Ill consider them, but I live in Canada so shipping is a ---smurfette---!
-
That's hardcore man. I would definately be interested in one of those 2 player delux panels. You know, you could just send a test piece my way ;). Heh, all kidding aside, when you get that thing perfected, I'll be in line to order...well, it depends if usedelectronics gives us a good price too.

There's a lot of these hardcore DIY-CNC madmen out there. The first time I found cnczone.com (http://www.cnczone.com) I spent about an hour looking through peoples custom built machines in total shock.

Any update on your Star Wars Yokes?
-
I really had no idea that people could even make their own CNC machines! Not to mention the cost behind it all.

I've seen other posts where you've talked about buying parts in quantity/having parts available. Are you gamecab.com? (I only ask since you don't have a WWW link in your profile)

That's just awesome! (wondering if my wife will let me buy an arc welder....)

You really need to put up some more contruction pictures of your CNC router...
I was reading through your journal & felt jipped by how it suddenly ended... ;)
Great work!
I've been planning my own CNC router for smaller projects.
How's it working out for you so far?

Love it... :)

Ok, Here are some pictures of this weekends CNC Tests:
First Picture is of the CNC Router itself minus the cutting deck.
This next picture is of the CNC with my Porter Cable Router attached to it.

Here's an idea: a miniature CNC router that flips out of the cab, allowing you to instantly customize your CP on the spot! :o
j/k
-
Thats too good!!
-
Very nice!
You're giving me the bug to get going on mine...
arg...
I've really got to finish my cab first though...
Nice work!
How many passes is it taking to cut all the way through that CP?

The Buttons took 2 Passes but that was because they were started with the 3/4 Router.

Dude, Im impressed, nothing more to say. Its fantastic.
Start sellin :D Im up for a shopping spree :P
-
The Buttons took 2 Passes but that was because they were started with the 3/4 Router. Everything else took 1 pass with the 1 1/2 router.
Are you talking about the bit size, or the actual router?
Wait I think I just figured it out... Horse power! right?
What size & type bit are you using?
Thanks!
