"The study destroys a central argument of global warming sceptics within the Bush administration - that climate change could be a natural phenomenon. It should convince US president George Bush to drop his objections to the Kyoto treaty on climate change, the scientists say."

Fat chance when theres so much money to be made denying it. Maybe we should point out to him that Kyoto isn't a japanese car maker  ::)

"The researchers - many funded by the US government - have seen what they describe as a "stunning" correlation between a rise in ocean temperature over the past 40 years and pollution of the atmosphere."

Think this program is going on the chopping block?  Heheh.  Bush won't pay any attention to these findings.  His mind is already made up.

Yeah. Global warming is real. But you left out the best part. Global warming melts the ice cap, which dilutes the saline, which slows the oceanic conveyor, which leads to an ice age.

I can only HOPE!

Y2K didn't pan out, so this is my last chance to be vindicated for storing shotguns and canned-goods.

Yeah, I agree. I moved to AZ to get the global warming.

I used aerosol TOOTHPASTE. I used hairspray on the dog.
I spray painted everything.
I bought junk cars just to release the freon.

In the end nothing worked, so I moved.

lol.  I'm all for global warming too.  We've had a pretty warm winter so far.  It must be working.  I still can't see the ocean from my deck though.

Where can a guy like me score a lid of cfc's?
