Title: Gutted Parts...are they worth anything???
Post by: MAME nut on February 21, 2005, 09:47:57 am: I'm in the processing of MAMEing a couple machines. Just curious if the guts are worth anything to anyone...of if I should just toss them in the trash?? I don't have the knowledge to test them, so they would be "AS IS".

If you mean joysticks and buttons, you could probably get a few bucks for them on eBay (or the Buy/Sell/Trade forum). If you're talking about special controllers, like trackballs, spinners, or flight sticks, you could probably get more than a few bucks for them.

If you can post a fairly detailed list of what you've got, preferably (but not necessarily) with pictures, it would help.

- Monitor (with burn-in)
- Marquee
- Game pcb boards
- 4" Trackball
