Slashdot is a great source of interesting news. It is billed as "News for Nerds"

It has a story on it now about the whole  Ultracade / MAME thing

We got up to 555 at one point. Machine never even flinched at it. Not a bad test.

I was going to say something about that actually - box took a licking and never even blinked. I was on when it hit 555 and couldn't tell. I thought it was an error at first :)
