Having a bit of a crisis. I just installed my Wells Gardner U3100 Monitor vertically in my TAITO cabinet and to my disgust, the back corner of the bracket protrudes out the rear of my cabinet almost 4-5 inches.
Before I take some serious tools and cut that bracket off, anyone have any other suggestions??? The monitor is also pushed as far forward I can get.
Thanks

do you have a pic to show visually what you mean?
I also have a taito cab... and mounted a 21" industrial PC monitor sans shroud/case and the bottom rear corner sticks out of the back about an inch or two... when I put the back door back on I'll have to route out some sort of hole/grill/space for it to jet out...
are you mounting yours at the same angle as the original monitor... ?
good luck,

I don't have a picture yet. However, I am mounting the U3100 Arcade VGA monitor in the same original arcade monitor bracket that came with the cabinet.
The problem is that standard arcade monitors do not have this large side bracket as the U3100 VGA monitor does, so it fits fine.
I'll probably have to modify the bracket, or as you are doing, cut the rear panel out and put a doghouse box attachment to extend the back a bit.
