Title: What's the best 8-way arcade-controller?
Post by: Felice on February 19, 2005, 10:11:20 pm
I'm looking for this. I'm not planning to make one myself because I'm not that technical skilled.

So what is the best arcade-controller on the market these days. Quality is more important then price.

It has the be :

1. Very good (and easy to execute) the diagonals.
2. Very responsive.
3. XBox suitable.

Thx.

I'd say without a doubt the Happ Perfect 360.

I'm happy playing on a Happ comp, super, or P360. But I prefer the super by far.

I mean a complete controller with stick and buttons like the X-Arcade. Is this the best one as a finished product?

go to www.retroblast.com (http://www.retroblast.com) and go to his reviews page.  Kevin has reviewed at least 6 different pre-made controllers like the HotRod , X-Arcade and SlikStik....what I recall from the review was you got what you paid for.  Anyway I'd have to agree with GGKoul, for the cost and quality Build Your Own Arcade Control (BYOAC) can't be beat.
