I'm set on making a 4P CP but naturally I only want it to be big enough to allow all players to stand comfortably and not crunched. As such, what are the dimensions of your 4P panels?
For comparison the dimensions on a 4P slikstik are something along the lines of 21"x48", which just seems enormous to me! :o Is that overkill in size or what I should expect for comfortable gameplay?

I only have a 2 player cp ,but you should look at the blitz 4palyer or gauntlet legends cps on klov

My dream is to make a 4player 6button each panel with a trackball....

My CP was originally a 4P when it was a dedicated machine. The CP is 14x37.

Mine is 49"x18", with 11 buttons (8 play + 3 other) per player.

I used the 4 player CP that is at mameroom.net. It isnty terribly large like the Slik Stik Quad, yet it's comfortable to play on.

Take a look at the full set of plans for my Mame cabinet on my website.

Mine is 47" x 19.5". I have 6 buttons per player and a 3" trackball.

I beleive mine is about 52 inches by 21 inches or somewhere around there, put the track ball and 4 way behind the front 4 player buttons to give people more space around it.
