www.himuragames.com (http://www.himuragames.com)
through out everything I've read here I've never seen anyone mention himuragames.com
Rod there is a supplier of Japanese parts and ships real fast and the parts are just great, they're Sanwa. I really love this Sanwa stick I just got from him that I am using in a control panel to be used for mainly Tekken 5. I also got Sanwa buttons with it. I loved the Sanwa so much that I think I'm going to use it (the J-stik version from ultimarc) for my 4-way joystick on my arcade for Ms. Pac-Man etc because it feels more traditional/classic, and also has that wico feel for other games like X-men.
But yeah, highly recommended
I should also say I think I really highly recommend Sanwa/Japanese sticks, I mean American sticks have been the same for like 10-15 years since American arcades aren't popular, but Japanese arcades are really popular so it's natural to think the joysticks would improve.

I haven't got anything off rod yet, but i definatly recommend him. i'm sorting out an order at the mo', and he's been really helpful in answering all my questions. He'll also be able to order parts in for you, like colours he dosen't have in stock etc.
Not only does he sell arcade parts, but he sells strange japanese snacks and drinks aswell. And i think he's just started a DVD exchange.

Yeah, it's US dollars. But the guy who runs it has a day job, himuragames is just a thing he does on the side, it's not a big business or anything, its just to help people out getting their japanese arcade parts, Belive it or not he makes very little profit from selling these things, and Sanwa parts are alot more difficult to get hold of than happs.

What currency is that site in? If it's American dollars, I'm not impressed with the prices...
why not?
They're imported Japanese parts.. definately worth the quality.
Probably double in price of American parts but not bad at all imo

They are good prices for sanwa parts. Of course they would be cheaper to get if your in Japan though. LOL The joysticks cost like $18 dollars from the manufacturer but then when you add shipping and customs and what not $23 for a joystick is a good price. The J-Stick model is cheaper than the one Rod offers. It is only around $15 in Japan. I wonder if Andy from ultimarc gets a special deal from sanwa when he orders them because he sells them for $15 each.

heh yah but for us Americans we have to import them from ultimarc, it's a double import.
well given that though Rod does sell it pretty cheap, pretty nice guy, gave me a little discount and it came with a free baggy of japanese goodies which was cool

I've put in a ton of orders with Rod at himuragames over the past months and I have to say he really is a great guy to do business with. He's very professional, ships fast, and is the only reliable person I know of that sells sanwa parts in the states. Sanwa parts are superb, personally I prefer them WAY more than Happs.
