Pac cab, no art (well, some very rough some has been sanded off)
original coin door, marquee, back door, glass
A few control panels that fit the cab (would be great for swapable cp's)
a pac panel converted to some taito game, has extra button holes (unpopulaed)
a pac panel setup for a trackball with some kind of ugly centipede overlay (unpopulated)
a pac panel setup for thundercade with 2 8 ways (wicos I think) and 3 buttons each (I think its 3)
A pac panel with decent overlay in great shape, needs joystick but has buttons (I also have 2 replacement overlays one with space for extra buttons, one standard pac)
has coin box and mechs too.
Its for a multi panel project that I will just probably never get to. ANy input? Located in Mass

No monitor? No game boards?
How about $50-$100
-
prob worth selling the parts individually then?
I mean the glass and marquee are like $50 alone right?
-
I think ~$40 (+shipping) assuming both are in good condition. That's what would really determine it. I'd be interested in the coin door if you do part it out. Let me know.
-
I have picked up some rough shape Pac cabs for ~20-25$ in the past.

I paid $61 for an empty Konami cabinet with glass, over/under coin door (no mechs) with keys and coin bucket, 2 Happ Ultimates and 14 buttons on the panel, and a JAMMA harness, so that $50-$100 is a good estimate for what you'd get for it on eBay, although as others have said cabs can be had cheaper. I'd probably part it out unless you can find a local buyer.

Here are some pics of what Im selling
http://www.miltonsoffice.com/pac
I can also thow in a working ms pac board and possibly a new switcher harness from arcadeshop.com, and enough orange t-moulding for the cab
All of the panels, including the 2 joystick thundercade one, are pac panels so they would be great for a multipanel system. Also there are two brand new overlays, one is an original pac and one is a pac with no p1 and p2 start button graphics to allow for extra buttons, I bought it to fit the panel with the extra holes.
Has quarter mechs in it that seem to work fine. Also have a yellow back door.
Let me know if you have questions

Questions:
Where in MA are you? I'm in MA and have been looking for a Pac/Ms pac.
-
Amesbury, about as northeast as you can get :)
-
Still not THAT far a drive, I'm on the RI border. What are you thinking of asking for the stuff? I'm not really interested in all the extra panels, but if you must sell it all as a lot, it won't kill me.
What I've seen, really, is that the cab you showed, with the parts already in it, is like about a $50 cab. The marquee and stuff could be parted out and sold separately, but then you're stuck with a cab that has little value to anyone and you've still gotten about $50.
Anyone can feel free to jump in and correct me if they feel that's unfair.
-
Well Ive seen cabs without the marquee, cp and coindoor sell for almost $50 (I think I paid $40)
I dont know if that seems reasonable, what do people think?
What parts would you be interested in. I would probbaly prefer to sell it as a package as someone could make a pretty kick ass system here, but if I need to part it out it I will.
-
Basically, the cab and the extra art pieces (which I didn't figure into the price I gave). Oh, and the T molding, if that's the proper T molding for a Pac. Honestly, I'd likely make it a mame based multipac and restore it to its original appearance.
-
normally i try and make some money on stuff, with the exception of arcade stuff--i usually either sell it for what i got it for, trade it for something cooler or give it away--in that order. If you're interested in maximizing profit--sell it on ebay. if you are looking to meet people, haggle and not lose your shirt in the process--just sell it for what you got it for.
my reasoning behind this are as follows: how many people do you know or have regular contact with give a rats behind about mame, arcade, parts, gossip you read on the boards etc? I know very few so I welcome the chance to talk shop with other similarly inclined people. just my .02

Keeping in mind that Menace's point is a good one... do you have stuff you need/want that would make good trade value? I am a long time console collector and have a LOT of that stuff... plus I have, as does everyone here, some bits and bobs of arcade stuff lying about.

dropped you a PM chad
menace thanks for the post
Thanks

After further consideration, I've decided to drop out of the running for this one. Just don't have the space. Someone buy this from him!
-
Its cool chad, I know what you mean about space :)
anyone else have questions let me know
-
Let me know if you part it out. I'd take the coin stuff, and the orig overlay if the price was right...
-
So how much are you asking? Is there a monitor?
-
no monitor, Im open to reasonable offers. with the board and harness basically all you would need is a monitor. Let me know what you think is fair
-
No art, no monitor. Does have a harness and the possiblility of a board, but that aside, it's worth $50 together. You could get more parted out (since I see a marquee and a populated CP) but that's a together price.
-
Sorry, I dont know if I mentioned, has a brand new complete harness from arcadeshop.com and a working ms pac board. Those alone are about $300
Maybe I should part it, who is interested?
-
So...you've got everything but a monitor? Why don't you just get one and have a complete machine? You could likely get a used one cheap from someone local.
-
Well, basically I dont have the time or space for it and I could use the $ :)
-
Exactly. Get a monitor for $50 (maybe even less) and sell it as working.
-
Maybe Ill ebay it as is and see what happens, but your right, i could probably do well to sell it complete and working

Didnt sell, any interest?
-
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, bids on auctions with no photos. That's like Ebay Seller's Tip #1: Must have photos.
-
I'll give you $1.33 and a can of 'Pringles.'
-
I love pringles, but no
:)
Even though I linked to the pics huh?
Maybe Ill relist

Even though I linked to the pics huh?
I never noticed the URL for the pics until I saw you mention it here. Your best bet is to put the pics in the auction. I think $200 is pretty stout for for a pac cab in that condition. I don't think I'd go over $100, myself.

-
Isnt the board itslef worth $150 at least?
-
Considering Ebay lets you insert the first photo for FREE, you really should have bothered.
-
Okay, I'll help you out on this one. I'll re-up my offer of $75 and I'll come get it.
-
I say you should spend a day on it and then put it out.
1) Forget about the extra control panels. Its confusing.
2) I would paint it... The artwork is really bad shape and unfixable. But a fresh coat of paint (sand first) will either make someone happy... or make a base for new sideart if someone else wants.
3) I would use the new control panel overlay on the control panel.
4) I would buy some new T-Molding. About 19 bucks and then you just tap it on.
5) I would buy a used monitor. They are about 20 - 50 bucks if you find one...
or...
buy a new one. Someone on ebay is selling 145 + 25 shipping for a new happs... (this will work I'm pretty sure... ask around).
so for about 250 bucks for tmolding, monitor and paint... you should be able to sell it for easy 500+
Or part it out.
