I don't get how this works. most of these I can figure out but this one doesn't make any sense to me.

But theres different numbers and symbols and the symbols are always right! How does it do it? I can't understand.

There is a very limited number of answers for this scenario and there is a bell next to each answer.
example:
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 all give 9 as the answer

but 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 dont give 9 as an answer

just noticed he changes the common character each try so its always the same character for each set of answers.

I always hated these kinds of things.
If the people who spent the time to come up with this stuff would put their minds to good use, like curing cancer or better brain tumor removal solutions, we'd have long ago cured dandruff and solved the vexing problem of hangnails. ;)

the only possible answers are 9,11,18,22,27,35,36,45,49,54,63,72, or 81. these will always have the same shape associated with them for any instance of the game. that way, no matter which starting number you choose, you always end up on the same shape.
when the game resets, it places a new shape to correspond with all thirteen of the possible answers.

The only correct answers are 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81. Any other instances of the symbol are thrown in to mask the pattern.

if only i had actually done the math instead of taking the easy way out and just looking for the little suns.

i figured it out the 2nd time i did it.. when i noticed my answer from the first one just changed symbols and it was the same thing
