Title: Smartstrip Alternative?

Hey folks.  Does this look like a reasonable Smartstrip alternative?  From what I can tell.. it can only monitor the Windows power on/off..  but, I think that would be just fine for most cases.

Not that I'm a big deal finder or anything, but I found it for $12.95 plus $8 shipping (for me).

Sounds like it does the same thing as the other Smart Strip.
Who wants to be the guinea pig?  If no one - I might.... I'm going to need one.

I like it because it's cheap, and you just plug it to whatever power strip you want.  Does require a free usb port though.
