I have posted a pic of some logo ideas I have. I am leaning towards the "movie"-type ones because my basement is lined with their respective posters.
Also, the MAME logos will be replaced with their official one when I find an.ai file for it.
Thanks for any input.

The return of the arcade would look pretty cool if you jazzed it up.

Return of the arcade is a great idea.
Beats ____cade that seems very popular
You just need to think what artwork will fit into the theme that you can use for the rest of the cabinet.
No good having a great name with no theme/artwork to back it up
Cheers, ginno

Thanks. I agree it needs more. I am in the process of learning Illustrator/Photoshop. I was looking for feedback on the names and to put it out there that I will be calling my project this. ;D
I am not an artist so I might recruit for help. But not yet, as I do want to try until I embarass myself.

OK well since you like movie spoof titles, how about:
Police Arcademy
Citizen Kade
Raiders of the Lost Arkade
It's a Wonderful Last Life
Lawrence of Arcadia
Arcadian Beauty
Arcadalypse Now
The Bridge Over River Kade
Arcadian History X
2001: A Space Invaders
Donnie Darcado
Kade Bill Vol 2
Cade Runner
ok now I'm getting silly... ;D

"Debbie Does Arcade"?

Lawrence Of Aracdia is friggin' hilarious!

I vote for Return of the Arcade. If you don't use that, can I get a copy graphic?
Thanks!!

I like the Return of the Arcade idea.
Someones planning to do a Jedi Power Battles dedicated, some intersting Star Wars themed cab ideas were bounced around. ;D

Okay, don't laugh. This is my first attempt.
I don't like the purple. I would rather the blue jump into the red faster. Also, my radiant glow is much too uniform and flat. I'm not sure I like the blue lettering near the blue background. What do you think?
I would like to know how else to spruce this up, including the fact I would like to make it backlit as well. For example, is it ok to use blue and red for getting a good resulting glow from the backlight on the marquee?
I also had in mind maybe doing a LOTR style, Return of the Arcade, with the silhouette of arcade characters(pacman, donkey kong, mario, Tron, etc) going on a fellowship as seen in the posters. I would also use a middle earth chipped and beveled font. Just thinking out loud.

Instead of a blue/red/blue fade, try some white in there...
So your colors would be blue/white/red/white/blue/.
Just use a little white so it's not too patriotic looking.
May help lighten it up, it's kinda dark.
