Title: WinXP Desktop Settings Warning
Post by: sac01 on February 12, 2005, 08:42:08 pm
I'm running Mame/mamewah thru winxp on my cab, and i recently switched to a 29" VGA monitor that only displays max res of 640x480.  This is all working great, problem is that every once in awhil windows decides to pop up a "your desktop display is set to a low resolution & Depth, blah blah" message.  This wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that when it happens, it steql focus from whatevers running (usually mame) at the time.

Anyone know how to disable this stupid message?

thanks guys
sac

Download this http://xp-antispy.org/index.php?option=com_remository&func=sellang&iso=en
then where its says "dont show balloon tips anymore"  works like a charm, plus that program has a whole bunch of other tweaks that work great
