I finally won a coin door!!!!! Now my cab is near completion. Now that I have my coin door on the way I need a few tips on cleaning it up and painting it. It has some rust on it and looks pretty old and dirty. I know there are a few methods to remove the rust and paint but I'd like to hear some suggestions. Anything will help. Thanks in advance.
BTW - My website will full pics of construction will be up soon! Yay...

For a real authentic look (if this is the same style coin door I'm thinking of), go with Black Hammered spray paint.
The Hammered paint comes out bumpy (like you normally see spraypaint on metal)..

I totaly stripped mine down, removed any rust with steel wool, primed it, and painted it with Krylon satin black paint. The satin black goes well with the black laminate on the cab.
Here's a pic:

I grabbed a wire paint stripper for a drill and stripped all the paint off mine then painted it flat black.

I decided I wanted my cabinet to be a bit different so I painted mine red to match the t-molding and motif. I think it looks great. Whatever color you choose, I suggest Rustoleum spray paint (after you get rid of the old rust, of course). It worked wonders for mine. Looks like it came red from the factory. It looks brand spanking new.

I left mine with foot prints and scuff marks. Makes it look worn and torn. (IE MEAN!!!!) I also left the gang artwork on the side.
