Title: Rookie CP Question. (Inputs?)
Post by: DreamWeb on February 11, 2005, 01:14:04 am
Rookie question here!

Here is my proposed setup:

24 buttons

2 8-way joysticks.

I assume the buttons each will take up 1 input on my Keywiz Max 1.5 .  Right?
I'm also guessing that the two josysticks will take up 8 inputs (in total).  Right?

Bringing me up to my maximum 32 inputs for the Keywiz Max.

Does this math sound about right?

Thanks guys!

David

Also.  Here is my CP design that I think I'm going to build.  Let me know if it looks ok.

I think I'll eventually swap the Competitions out for a good switchable 4/8 way (ultimarc)

joysticks, wether 4 or 8 way usually require 4 inputs because they act like four buttons since on the bottom of most joysticks are 4 switches.

Right.  OK, thanks!  There only "8-way" because the diagonals consist of two switches being pressed at once.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
