Title: Arcade monitor and setting resolutions for apps.. Anyone wanna help?
Post by: delta88 on February 10, 2005, 10:15:57 pm
Hey all,

I have a WG 7000 series monitor with an arcade vga in the pc...

I am having a hard time picking the correct resolutions for win xp desktop, mamewah game menu, and then getting the .ini's correct for all of the games.

when using the mamewah res tool, did you delete the resolutions that show up poorly or not all out of the arcadevga resolution list?  Once i did this and hit auto-select, then generate ini, I was good to go.  I used 640x480 for the desktop and mamewah and used the resolution tool for all the games--took some tweaking but finally got it.  if i could access my cab easily i would send it along--maybe I should clean the basement..

Be sure to remove all no 60hz modes.

And the vertical games usually do cut off a little bit.
