Title: mamewah auto res not working :(

the mamewah auto res tool simply doesnt list the games despite me setting the paths countless times..

any suggestions?

Make sure you have 'Legacy MAME' ticked if you're using MAME v0.83 or earlier.

Also try selecting View > Generate Native Resolution List and see if that works.

Minwah - I had a similar problem, I think, using .91.  The auto-res tool created .ini's for all the games, but didn't list the resolution to switch to in the game's .ini.  Is it supposed to? 

It really doesn't matter because I just used the arcadevga res tool from the ultimarc site.

i'm using mame32 plus - and none of the view commands so anything :(

Yes it should, but you need to hit 'Auto Generate MAME Resolutions' for it to know what to put in the INI's...

There's ya problem, don't use MAME32 ;)
