Title: Ripping DVD to mp3
Post by: ChadTower on February 07, 2005, 02:42:47 pm

Okay, I have a sudden urge to listen to the audio from movies in my car.  I have to have some Waterboy while I'm on the highway.  Don't ask me why I want to hear Henry Winkler singing how much water sucks...

What would be the best way to approach this?

best thing to do, goto dvdrhelp.com   download smart ripper (free) rip the dvd to your harddrive then use ac3tool to convert the ac3 file to mp3  works like a champ, i've done it a bunch of times and its all free programs, just look for them under tools

Found "DVD Audio Extractor", which does the whole thing with a few clicks.  Nice.

This is nice.  Rockin' out to the D, blasting forth with a three part harmony.

I'm having problems with DVD Audio Extractor anyway, seems to not work well on half the stuff I've tried.

I'll head over and snag Besweet now.
