Okay, looking for suggestions/input. Working on a gutted Trivia Wiz cocktail table - converting to MAME. Pretty standard midway style table. What is the best joystick to use, considering the CPs are wood and the heighth is limited (since the glass overlay covers, I think, where the joysticks are. Any suggestions or ideas...I'm looking at Happ, Bob Roberts, Ultimarc, etc... but don't want to spend too much! ;)
Thanks for the input....

A small one :)

Hmm, you didn't look at OzStick! We have balltop sticks that would possibly suit your needs, drop me a line if you are interested in getting a couple.

Have you considered the Happ
Ultimate Universal?

The Ultimate is too tall for my cocktail. I'm gonna have to make my own shaft to get the right height for my cocktail. You might want to look at the old Wick leaf ball top sticks they might fit better.

I meant to say Happ Universal, not Happ Ultimate. Post has been corrected. I think the Universal height is about 3/4" lower than the Ultimate, although that may still not be short enough.

I have universals in my Midway-esque cocktail and I'd say they're ok. No they're not balltop (wish they were) and I don't convert them from 4 to 8 way because I believe it takes a screwdriver to do so. It also seems to me (been a long time since I looked) that if I switched it back and forth too many times, my wires are bound to fall out. (I am far from an expert crimper!)
