Title: ArcadeVGA driver problem going nuts, please help
Post by: Brian21157 on February 05, 2005, 11:49:03 pm
When I try to install the drivers from the cd supplied with my Arcadevga card it starts to load, I get "ATI Display Driver Setup is Preparing the InstallShield Wizard" box and then it disappears. I've tried right clicking and using "Explore" and then "Setup" but the same thing happens. I've tried this on 3 different computers so I'm fairly certain it's the disk. Unfortunately there are no drivers available on the Ultimarc site, only a message saying "no updates available". Thanks for your help.

For the 9200 series card.
(One vga connector, one rca jack)

For the 7000 series card, do a search in the forums, someone has them posted for download somewhere.
(2 vga connectors, 1 svideo jack)

Thanks dabone, but I still can't seem to get it to install properly. Probably just something stupid on my part, but every time I try to run "Setup" the install box pops up for a few seconds and then dissappears. I think I did everything right... downloaded the drivers, extracted the files, clicked on "Setup", then same problem. It seems like everything is working correctly and then just stops. Tried again on a couple of computers so the computer's not the problem. Tired of playing games on split screen :(  Thanks for your help.
