Windows is not recognizing my ipac, and thus my control panel on my cabinet is useless! Ugh. I went to show a friend the cab, as he was interested in building one, and the control panel only worked half the time. Then yesterday I went to play, and it doesn't work at all.
I am using the USB port cable. When I connect it to any of my 4 usb ports, windows does not recognize it as the ipac, and it makes the "do-do-do" sound as opposed to the "do-do" (hehe). Anyway, I went to the device manager, and it said something about the registry files being corrupted or missing. Any idea?
Note, it is NOT the ipac that has the problem. I tried my standalone control panel with a different Ipac, and it does not work either. The ps2 port does not even work (unless you have to have the keyboard attached as a pass through...I'll check on that)
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you emailed Andy at Ultimarc?

Happened to me the other day. Unplug the IPAC, reboot, and replug it in. When it reinstalls, you should be good to go.

I agree. Windows doesn't know what it is. Sounds like a problem more inclined towards win98...
