Title: Minipac and trackball/spinner issues

I'm a newbie building my first cabinet.  I purchased a minipac and everything works fine except for the trackball and spinner connections.  whenever I plug in either of these, I get a message that I need to restart my computer.  I'm testing with a Mac laptop -- has anyone heard of this? I'm planning on purchasing a dedicated PC for my cabinet, but would like to get this working before then.
