Does anyone have any ideas for a Gamboy Color-Powered Micro Cab? What type of cab should it be? What buttons and joystick should I use (if not, how should I make them)? It will be roughly the size of the Game Boy Color. Will post pics when done. Thanks in advance.

How is it going to be the same size as the gameboy color?

You could surround a real GBC with a teeny tiny cab and rig it so that buttons on the miniscule panel work the d-pad and buttons inside. It'll be kind of impractical but still look neat. It'll be perfect if you ever get sucked into Oz and you need to amuse the munchkins.
I've got a cab in my pocket.

I thought about doing this with my GBA SP. I don't really use it and I have a few arcade ports. I forgot about the idea as I think getting a small stick will be hard...the only thing I could think of was the old Gravis gamepads which came with a little screw-in joystick. I used to have one of these pads but I can't find it anywhere :(

For the buttons I actually found a pcb from an old printer with little buttons on it (perfect size). For a joystick, I thought about putting a screw or something in the middle of a dpad.

sounds decent enough.
I've been toying with the idea of making something similar, but a tabletop model and with a GBA. ten inch tv, full sice buttons, find a way to get the ports properly on the outside of the little thing(I'm of rewiring them so that they've got about an inch or so of cord. that shouldn't cause any problems, right?), and I'm good to go.
