Title: twisty grip status?
Post by: portwojc on February 04, 2005, 05:17:39 pm
I was wondering if any knew if the twisty grip plans are still being sold on the website?  I remember reading that it had been sold off to another company but that site had some domain camper on it.  I sent an email to the mailto link there at the start of the week but no response back yet.  There are links to buy the plans but with the lack of a response and the board there looked a little dead I wanted to ask if anyone knew first.

Thanks!

Jason

I haven't heard anything since late in 2002.

Here's a thread where I was working on this:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,2699.40.html

At the end, the twisty-grip developer posts some replies.  You could try E-mailing or PM'ing him, although I never heard back from my E-mails.

Twisty grip is the home made star wars yoke.  The website www.twisygrip.com has plans for sale on it.

I'll just wait and see if I get a reply from the email I already sent.  The twistygrip account has been idle since Dec 02 :(

I guess I'll try posting on the site and see if I get noticed.

Thanks!

Seems like I saw Twisty posting a while back on some other MAME site, one devoted to samples, I think.  I'm not sure it's the same guy, but it can't hurt to try.

edit:  Here it is:

Different guy - Twisty with samples is one of the leaders at www.mameworld.net (posts a lot of the news items and such), no relation to Twisty-Grip, AFAIK.
