I recently aquired a Night Driver machine in near perfect condition, the ony problem i found is that the width coil is snapped in half, and the screen is scrambled because of it.
PLEASE HELP, i will pay well for anyone who can get me a replacment.
thanx

A lot of the old time tv repair guys hang out on the newsgroup sci.electronics.repair
A posting there ought to get some replies as some of those repair guys keep a stash of new old stock parts like that. I don't know if Motorola even supports video monitors anymore.

thanx for the help,
NEW OFFER <<<<
I WILL PAY WHO EVER SUCESSFULLY REFERS ME TO SOMEONE WHO SELLS ME THE WIDTH COIL I NEED!!!!!!!!!!

just curious--have you confirmed that is actually whats in there? Alot of people swap things in and out as they go bad so you might get lucky and have a more common display in there.
-
Yeh, just because a manual says that's what's supposed to be in there doesn't mean that's what's actually in there. Someone could have easily swapped out monitors over the years.
-
im realy not sure how to confirm it, its not as easy as my wells gardner monitor, i couldnt find any markings on it. Ill look more at it on monday and take a few pics.
thanx for all the help guys

Download the manual for that Motorola monitor at mikesarcade.com as there is a picture of it on the front cover.

well it looks like the one on the manual, but the width coil should be visable, its in the back right corner, which is visable on the manual cover. perhaps someone replaced the board and kept the tube.... ill get a better look at it on monday when i have a day off.
thanx for all your help guys
