Title: Teddy Bear dropped from market

If anything there might be a beanie baby fiasco.
People will run to buy them up, and then they'll get stuck with them.

That was sarcasm of couse but political correctness is just an annoying disease that makes my midsection itch like crazy. And what did all the controversy do? It made a bear that would have came and went undetected the biggest seller for the company. It's exactly like the whole 2 Live Crew debacle - an album no one would have bought went gold.

That said, this bear is now 200+ on ebay. If vermont teddy bear were smart, they'd continue making them and sell them as "discontinued" on ebay under a different seller name.

Valentine's day is pretty lame if you think about it. It makes single people feel like pathetic losers. It's neat for couples in their first year. Beyond that it's like, "damn I gotta get something--but what?!"
