A friend asked me an interesting question about routing the t-slot. On a Luisd-style cab (I believe he's doing a project arcade), do you route and put t-molding on the control panel ledge?
My thought is that he would be wasting t-molding, since it'd be hidden by the cp sitting on top of it. Any thoughts?

I basically put it anywhere a wood edge shows, so you dont have to look at the ugly edge

My Konami cab has t-molding underneath the CP, so when I open up the CP (hinged at the front) I see t-molding. At first I thought it was wierd, but it's a nice 'cushion' between the cp and the sides of the cab upon which the cp rests.
The only place where there's no t-molding is where the very back edge of my cp leans up (crosses/meets) the right and left sides of the cabinet.
