Shipping Costs:  I am located in Illinois.  I use 3 different forms of shipping. US Mail (Priority or First Class), DHL, UPS.  Your choice.  I will charge you exactly what it costs me to ship your product.  I have NO HANDLING FEES or HIDDEN CHARGES.

I hope this helps.

Ponyboy

USPS flat rate envelopes are your new friends.  There's one that's about 12x10x2 that's around $8 to ship regardless of destination and weight.
Title: Re: HAPP HORIZONTAL BUTTONS * NEW ITEMS ADDED*
Post by: Goz on February 03, 2005, 11:39:43 pm
Shipping the buttons and Joys in the envelopes could result in broken microswitches. There are some Priority Mailer boxes that are 8 x 8 that run $7 or $7.50 anywhere.

Post by: ponyboy on February 03, 2005, 11:50:45 pm
Flampoo, you are correct.  black only.

You are correct, Goz.  I would only ship buttons and joys in a box never an envelope.  USPS has great deals on the Priority box.

Thanks,

Ponyboy

The best flat rates can be done this way:

1) put items in small Priority box.  You can use the smallest box, and the next size up.

2) Put that box in the flate rate envelope.  It will *just* fit.  It's covered under the flat rate, AND it's protected by the box inside.

Thanks ponyboy, my order arrived today.  Everything is great!

I don't know if it would be worth stocking, but it would be great if you could carry some of the supporting parts.  Like trackball mounting plates, mounting plates for reunion sticks on wood panels, black carriage bolts.

Ok ponyboy, so I'm looking through the USPS site to determine the postage on a bezel when I go to input the information, it looks like you need to input the package sizes to get the right postage, otherwise you might end up paying like three times the cost of the bezel.

Can you give us some estimated dimensions of the package size?  Or am I just not finding the right place to input the information?

p360s are THAT GOOD. I have them on my biggest machine, refitted with Wico handles and they are easily the best sticks I have ever used. No clicking, similar feel to the classic Wico leaf, and the 8 directions are all EXACTLY the same size.

Paige, would you say that Wico leaf sticks fitted with optical converters are as good as Perfect 360 sticks?

The reason I ask is that I've got some optical converters somewhere that I've never used. If they work OK then it'll save me having to spend $90 on some 360s.

Yes, pretty much the same deal, if anything they could be slightly better (if you have GOOD grommets).

The P360 essentially is a Wico with an optical converter stuck on it. Specifically it is the round base, spring model of Wico.

So could you make a 4-way Perfect 360 using the diamond shaped restrictor from an old 4-way wico base?

In theory yes, unsure about in reality.

You would HAVE to use the convertor though, you couldn't modify an actual p360 this way.

Ponyboy,

Do you sell microswitches separately (I'm thinking of the lever type attached to the Super joysticks)?

Do you sell strong springs for fitting to the Super and Competition joysticks?

Do you ship to the UK?

Do you sell any other IL stuff (Happ are after all just distributors)?

Thanks in advance.

Rate charge information for Bezels is listed above.

Thanks,

Ponyboy

I guess I'm too thick to find it. What's the shipping charge on bezels?

Thanks, that's what I assumed.

So could you make a 4-way Perfect 360 using the diamond shaped restrictor from an old 4-way wico base?

In theory yes, unsure about in reality.

You would HAVE to use the convertor though, you couldn't modify an actual p360 this way.

You can put the adapter on a gromit based wico 4-way joystick but not on the Happ P360 with the base restrictor part from the Wico.   The spring based joysticks have a little plate that goes on the end of the spring which doesn't fit with the smaller hole on the wico 4-way.  If you want turn your happ P360 into a 4-way you should try and get one of Oscar's Restrictor Plates.  That is what I did and it is the best 4-way I've ever used.

Grasshopper, please provide me with part numbers and I will shoot my prices out to you.  You are correct that Happ is a distributor for IL BUT Happ has the exclusive rights to sell their product in the US, Mexico & South America.

As of today I will no longer sell or stock T-Molding or Bezels.  Sorry for inconvenience but the demand is too low.

Thanks for your support.

First off, I'd like to say hi all, as this is my first post on the board. :D

Ponyboy- Your prices seem great! I am interested in getting 2 Happ optical rotary sticks. Their website says they are out of stock, any chance you can get any? Do you know if those items are out of stock indefinitely? Also, they charge $49.15 each, would you know what you would sell them for?

Thanks!

also, my trackball's bearings are a little corroded, and I'm strongly considering replacing them if I can get a good price.

Timstuff, sorry I only sell complete trackballs.

SORRY,

Ponyboy

No prob. I think that the rollers and bearings just needed a little rub with some fine steel wool, and now I just need to re-oil the bearings.

Ponyboy, I realise this is a long shot, but I'm wondering whether you sell joystick mounting plates?

Also, have you made a decision on whether to sell the translucent joysticks?

Thanks in  advance.
