Greetings all!
Well I just can't contain myself. No matter how many times I say (and think) I'm "finished with my cab" I think up more stuff to do.
Well....here's my latest "module" for my Mame Invaders with a special "bonus" for you if you read through my whole post!....
Basically, I built a Dual Stick "module" to use with my cab. I used a gutted/broken XArcade with a new PCB (using their kit w/wiring harness) to create my latest masterpiece!
The photos are pretty self explainatory but....enjoy my "narration" above each photo......
Enjoy!!

Hmmm....what's next?????

Here's the XArcade stripped down....and uh, I've filled it's holes.....wow that sounds REALLY odd....but it's true!....
-
where's the pics?
-
Here's the front....this wood putty stuff works great! (smells REALLY FUNKY...but works great!).
-
Here's a pic of me routing the back for the joy...I never did that before and was a bit sloppy but I got the job done.
Below that is a pic of the PCB being prepped...

Here's a close up of the PCB and the wiring.......

here's me putting on the laminate.... and a shot of my beauty finished!
-
here's her rear (aren't you bold!)....and a FULL FRONTAL of my darling in place on my Mame Invaders Cab!

BONUS PIC!...for those of you who have raked me over the coals for my XArcade attached to my Mame Invaders cab....I finally covered up the XArcade logo and made it match my new dual stick module....oh joy oh joy!
For those of you that have followed my posts in the past I now have the following "modules"--
1) Standard Stick w/Buttons XArcade Layout
2) Dual Stick
3) Star Wars Controller
4) Steering Wheel
5) Trackball
and I've already integrated an Oscar Spinner and light gun that are always attached to the cab.
I really like being able to change the cab at will without have a huge panel.
I hope you like it!
Ask any questions as always!!!

I noticed. I just figured recessing your "system" trackball opposite the spinner would be pretty cool. ;D
