Title: Metal Slug 1 Video Problem ??

 ??? While trying to run metal slug one, the video is all distorted and you cant make out the picture on the screen, the sound is right, and you can see the people moving somewhat, but the picture is really messed up, so bad you cant play the game. Metal Slug 2, 3, X, and all other of my mame games run fine, just the original metal slug one does this. Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do? All help is appreciated, thanks. ???

I've only seen this problem on hacked emulators.

Make sure your version of MAME matches your ROM. When I used an old version of MAME with a newer ROM I had the same problem. When I got the most recent (at the time) it worked great,
