Title: Can't see some of my games!

I've been reading all the good info here while building my mame cab, but I can't find the answer for my problem. I have a cab running Mamewah and mame 90. It has a 15" pc monitor (for now). Some of my games run perfect, but some of them come on very dim when they load. Anyone have an idea why?

May help if you give examples of the "dim" games

Every revision of smash tv, every Blasteroids. There are more, i just don't remember.
