Title: Cocktail CP Design - Help! (4 action buttons?)
Post by: javeryh on January 30, 2005, 07:01:49 pm
OK - I'm building a 27" cocktail cabinet from scratch.  I've decided on everything (well, most everything) except for the CP layouts.

For the P1 CP I want to have (starting from the left) a 4/8-way T-stik plus, a 2-1/4" trackball and at least a 3-button layout to play games like commando and gunsmoke - I'd try to squeeze the "neo-geo 4-button layout" in there if necessary.

For the P2 CP I want the same configuration except I want a vortex spinner instead of the trackball.

I've got a few questions though because I'm undecided about the button configuration... here goes:

1.

Wow, thanks - that is a very useful page...  what do you think (since you are the cocktail king around here)... can I comfortably fit a joystick, trackball and 4-button neo geo layout on the P1 and P2 CPs?

How big is this going to be? With a 27 inch monitor it's going to be a heck of a lot bigger than a regular cocktail table.

It will be roughly 23" x 27-1/4" on the base with the glass and top panel being about 27" x 37" ... I think...
