Title: control panel format questions
Post by: dagimp69sme on January 29, 2005, 05:47:33 pm
to all -

i've designed a 4-player panel in visio 2003, but everytime i try to convert it into a pdf file, the measurements are about a quarter-inch off.  i've tried a lot of things, but i can't seem to correct this error.  thus, i want to save it into another format, but whenever i save it to the autocad type, illustrator doesn't open it to size...

so my question is:

what format should i save it as to convert it to an accurate pdf file?

You mean they're a quarter inch off when you print it?

It could be your printer settings in acrobat.

In the print dialog, there are options to "shrink oversized pages" and "expand small pages".

No, I mean the actual pdf file prior to printing is a quarter inch off.  I have no idea what the visio->pdf creator is doing, but something is definitely going on.
