I hate to tell you this, but my mom bought that same lava lamp for my niece for xmas. I think she said she paid $12 for it at Walgreens.

Hehe..naw it's fine. I wanted an original Mathmos lamp, as a collectible. The Walgreen lamps are crap, and they don't run very long. The Mathmos lamps are *much* better...

Can't argue with that. I think this one lasted about five minutes before my neice dropped it on the floor splashing funky hippie goodness all over my mom's carpet. Much chaos ensued. Gotta love the holidays, good times.
