Step 1. go to arcadecontrols.com and read everything you can
Step 2. use the search option on the forum.

Saint's book, "Project Arcade" does not include steps to building a JAMMA cab from scratch.

Most of the people on this forum would advise you to buy a JAMMA cab and make any necessary adjustments (e.g. Control Panel, Art, etc.)

I redid a cabinet and made it JAMMA. I used the existing A/C wiring (after replacing the main power cord), but did the rest from scratch, including redesigning the CP and wiring it for JAMMA.

Check out Bob Roberts site for info on building a cab.

Good luck,

Huh ??? Have you not seen the Buy/Sell/Trade (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/board,2.0.html) forum?

Here's (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,30754.0.html) a free cab
Here's (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,31039.0.html) a Megalo cab
Here's (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,31223.0.html) a VF2 Deluxe cab
Here's (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,30776.0.html) a bunch of stuff.

And all of those are on the first page of the B/S/T forum meaning that those threads have been active within the last 2 days.

Methinks that moonpatrol 4 lyfe's post is good advice

He probably meant "here" as in where he lives..... yes there are free cabs in B/S/T, but fi they are 2000 miles away from him, they don't really do him much good, now do they?

If you're interested in an empty cab to start with, there's some talk in this thread about cutting up empty cabs in Oklahoma because nobody wants them.
