Title: For DOS, which software for Wells U3100?
Post by: liche on October 19, 2002, 08:41:29 am
I'm planning on using DOS (Win98 version) to run my mame cabinet.  I'll also be using a Wells Gardner U3100 VGA arcade monitor.

In your experience, what group of software would work best for this application??

Just use ARCADEOS with Dos MAME or do I need something a bit more complex like ARCADEOS with AdvMame or some other combination that works even better.

I do not want to use windows as I want a mouse free gaming system with all the other benefits of DOS.

Thanks in advance for any help.

ti depends on you, but sounds like you want it the easy way, so stay with ARCADEOS with DOS MAME. Now if you  want to work a little and feel up to a challenge then use ADVMAME and ADVMENU.
