Title: advmame, dos, and tbalde64 install
Post by: vincentc77 on January 28, 2005, 10:03:26 am
I'm finally getting all of the pieces and knowledge together inorder to try getting my 25kHz monitor to properly display the advcfg setup screen.  I'm going to try these steps tonight:

- set pclock at 5-90
- set hoz freg at 24.9 KHz
-set vetical freq at 47-63 Hz.
- play with shift 'i'
-increase/decrease horz freq by .01
-repeat until screen is viewable.

-Does anyone know if any special lines in the rc file  are needed for the tblade 64, or any TSRs?  Remeber this is for DOS using a WG U3000 EGA arcade monitor.   Anyone want to add anything?

Thanks,
Charlie

Yes,
I thought the U3000 was a 31Khz monitor?

The model number is 33K3201, according to WG.  It was in an NFL Blitz cab which is an EGA game.

I imagine it may be possible to adjust the horizontal frequency on that monitor to get it to sync with 25hz instead of 31hz.  I had a U3100 that you could adjust quite a bit/
