I didn't come up with a name for this machine.
I took the defender cab dimensions and scaled them down to 68%, mainly because I bought a few 2feet by 4feet sheets of mdf.
It's a P1-233 mmx
Running DOS, VanTAGE & arcadeos (thanks joymonkey)
It has 1 4way stick and plays about 20 games.
I wanted to make it as simple to use as possible.
The coin door (which you can't see) is from Happs

I ended up buying generic artwork because I didn't feel like putting in the time to create custom art.
I cut the pacman & ghost on the back for ventilation.

Hey nice job! I really like what you did on the back w/pegboard & painting pac-man & ghost. Great idea.
Where'd you get the cab dimensions, and how'd you scale them down?

He he that's cool. RUN RUN IT'S THE BIGGEST CAT IN THE WORLD!!!

I tried to use the guide from http://www.minimame.com/ but it didn't include all the measurements because it assumes you can print the pdf at full size and just cut along the lines.
So next I went to Jakobud's site http://www.jakobud.com/cabinetPlans.php and got the plans for the defender cab.

I'm curious, is it sized so that's it's comfortable to play standing up or do you mostly play sitting down?
-
I have to play it sitting down since it's only 4 feet tall and I'm 6 feet tall.
The monitor is 15 inches I think, the visible part is only 11, the whole bezel area is 15x15.
The CP is 24 inches off of the floor.
To figure out the CP height I sat in a chair and measured to the top of my knees.
Now that's it's done, I think tilting the monitor back a little would have made it more comfortable or raising the montior up a few inches.

Thanks - when I link to Jakobuds page & click on the plans .zip files, another page opens up but there's nothing on it (except Jakobud's 'heading'). Is this where the plans are supposed to be?

Doh! it works if I turn off my internet security. Nevermind.
