well, i was adjusting the contrast on my monitor with the adjuster in the back and the pot got pushed back so i turned off the monitor. then moved it back in place, (slowly with a an insulated clamp) now all i have is a thin line in th middle of the monitor. is it game over? have a completley wrecked it? please help ive just got the cab working and im going to be gutted is its wrecked oz i cant afford anotther.

Could be you've broken that part or an adjacent part loose from the copper foil. Sounds like your monitor is probably repairable, but I would suggest taking it to a professional.

im having no luck finding a repair guy (im in the uk) my monitor liiks like this but the other way round vertical not horizintal

my monitor is Wells-Gardner 25k7181 is there any parts i can buy to fix it?
