Title: 2-player Galaga, Xevious, Mappy?
Post by: Dougmeister on January 24, 2005, 01:45:38 pm

This guy says that 2-player mode means that both players play at the same time.

Correct, these games had alternating game play between P1 & P2.

Thanks.

But wouldn't it be cool if you *could* play those games in true 2-player mode?

<Doug imagines dual-Galaga, each player with dual-fire capabilities...!>

The seller states that you can "play 2 players at 1 time".    I did not read this to mean "at the same time", but rather both players can alternate turns before the game is over.   Maybe I think that way since I know how the game is played .....

Really... you kind of lose a lot of credibility if you can't spell one of the THREE games on your machine correctly.  Even if you didn't create the marquee... mention it.....

It looks like that marquee can be re created at will.  It appears that all of the letters are just stuck onto some kind of blank template.

Even if that is the case... they still spelled it incorrectly. :)

That'd be kinda cool.  Anyone have any screenshots of such a game?  (No Photochops, please :) )

Wonder if KLOV has 'em, or are you pulling our legs?  :police:
