Title: Is there an easy way to interface an existing arcade cabs speakers to the PC?
Post by: Hoagie_one on January 24, 2005, 10:20:26 am
Took off the marquee last night and seen that i have some big ol speakers in there along with what i believe to be an amp (small silver box).

Any way to easily interface this with a PC?

Sound output is sound output.....
Start by going to Radio Shack and buying a cable to plug into your sound card "line out". You can cut the other end and splice wires to it...

Seems odd to have an amp up in the marquee area.  Is it wired to the speakers?  Maybe it's a ballast for the marquee light or something.
