Title: Easy Mamewah filter?
Post by: recksiek on January 23, 2005, 08:56:51 pm
Hi all, love the boards.  Happily setting up my first box...

I have everything running great, but was hoping there is an easy way to filter out all the duplicate versions of games  (NBA Jams V1, V2, V3, etc..).  I know you can create a filtered list, but then I would have to go through 5000+ games to create the list.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Well, there's my ListGen (http://cpmaker.mameprojects.com/files/LISTGEN.ZIP) utility, which can create MAMEWah game lists. Once a game list is created, you rename it to what MAMEWah is expecting, and you're in like Flynn.

No you wouldn't, that's why the filters are there (in Games List Options).

Yeah, I played around a little more and now realize that I am just a moron.  For some reason I didn't see the filtered list options until I installed 1.6.  Thanks for the help everyone...
